Food in the future

The Goal
Why do we have to consider about new food sources? In order to solving the curent food problem, our food is grown worldwide in huge fields and in millions of greenhouses, which takes up a lot of space and is limited in area.
we are a team with three students from different areas ( communication design, product design and interface design). Everyone were participated in everything from research for selecting one particular problem as topic, ideating crazy concepts as solution for the future. Furthermore, i myself was also in additional created few scenarios scenes to criticize our own concept.
The Background
Agriculture has come a long way in the past century. We produce more food than ever before - but our current production and consumer behaviors are not sustainable enough to feed all people. With the world's population rapidly approaching 8 billions, existing methods of food production will need a radical change to keep up.
We thought about our project, what our food might look like in the future and explore current trends in food production and consumption behaviors.
Human-Food-Interaction (HFI) describes the interaction between food and humans, which allows odor, taste, nutrients and consistency to be transferred as data.
The Concept
As part of the critical and speculative design, we developed a nanobot whistle, "Nutritsso" that helps consumers get along without physical food.
The whistle provides the user with nanobots that resemble human DNA. The necessary nutrients are transported through nutrient capsules in the whistle and can be charged by the docking station. Via the interface the consumption profile is either connected to the health insurance profile or it is done by a simple manual registration. The AI helps consumers deliver the right amounts of nutrient and compositions.
Likewise, however, an individual compilation is possible in the
Consistency, smell and taste can be set via the interface. For this purpose, the various messenger substances are loaded into the whistle, which can stimulate these stimuli.
